iSquad

Hello iSquad Members,

In an attempt to make the iSquad a little easier and more enjoyable, we are planning to make some changes, but we would like your input since you are the people that are dealing with the issues day in and day out. Please respond to the following questions and feel free to add in any of your own thoughts and ideas.

1. What are some of the things you like about being on the iSquad?
2. What are some of the things you dislike about being on the iSquad?
3. What are some of the changes you would like to see?
4. What would make your job easier?
5. How can we make the iSquad more fun?
6. Would you be interested in staying after school to learn about new technologies that you can use in the classroom and with your teachers?

Remember, that being on the iSquad is a big responsibility and requires dedication. We also want it to be a fun experience where you can learn some different things. Responding to this blog in a mature way will help us to make changes that will effect all of you, so please respond appropriately.

If you do not have an account, you can either create one or, just post as anonymous and include your first name and class.

1. The good thing about the Isquad is people begin to ask us questions when they need help instead of the teachers, which makes us useful.
2. What I don't like is that people continue leaving their tablets in different rooms, and we have to go searching for them, room to room, and having to wait to lock up the carts.
3. There needs to be a larger span of websites that we can go on. The teachers who actually do go on and let us use our computers, make us use the same sites over and over again, it gets old after a while. The whole point of the tablets is to keep us learning and interested.
4. my job would be easier if peoples tablets were takin away once the person has left them somewhere, that was they'll learn, and we won't have to chase them around.
5. We need more Isquad activity. Going to a place or two that invovle computers and how they effect other people and places.
6.If anything to really get us involved you might want to do that during school.

1. Some of the things that I like being on the iSquad is that we can help other when people or our classmates they need help. And we can handle the responsibility.

2. Some of the things I dislike about being on the iSquad is when people don't come to the classrooms to pick up their tablet. Sometimes people just leave their tablet or just spends time fooling around. That is kind of annoying because you'll have to wait until they are there because we have the responsiblilty to care for every single tablet.

3. Not much changes really need to be done. People should just be careful with their tablets.

4. My job is already easy for me right now.

5. iSquad can be more fun by improving the way we do stuff and by entertainment. But right now iSquad is already fun.

6. Yes, we can learn more stuff about how to deal problems and learn new stuff that we never knew.

1. One thing I like about being on the iSquad is the responsibility. Our classmates look up to us and so do the teachers when they need help.

2. Some of the things I don't like about being on the iSquad is that we are always late going home. It's also hard giving them out in the afternoon. The carts are very close together and it gets too crowded. Also, during the afternoon we barely ever use the tablets, and we carry them around anyway.

3. Some of the changes I wouold like to see are a better system of givikng them out or putting them away. Also, that when we are on the internet, we shouldn't have to wait so long for the internet to respond.

4. I think that right now, my job is fairly easy.

5. The way to make iSquad more fun is to go on trips about computers.

6. I would be intersted to learn about new technologies that I could use in the classroom and with my teachers, but I wouldn't be able to make it after school. I have other commitments, if there was a way to do it during school, that would be helpful.

1.Some of the things i like about being on the isquad is helping out other students with technology. And also i get to feel like im in a team that not everyone is permitted to be in.

2. Some of the things i dislike about being on the isqaud are that not all classmates respect you when you ask for a little cooperation as we distribute out the tablets before the late bell rings.

3. I think the system of handling the tablets is pretty consistent so i wouldnt suggest any changes.

4. I think the job is pretty simple to handle.

5. iSquad is pretty fun.

6. As one of the Isquad member, im pretty occupied already with afterschool programs.

4. What would make your job easier?
It's already pretty easy ! But , the students should work together better , to get us to get the tablets in and out faster !

5. How can we make the iSquad more fun?

1. What are some of the things you like about being on the iSquad?
I like being on iSquad, because I:
-get a chance to help teachers and our classmates
-learn more techniques.
2. What are some of the things you dislike about being on the iSquad?
I dislike about being on iSquad, because:
-since I have to put the tablets back in to the carts before lunch, I am always the last one arrive cafeteria; it is hard to find a seat when no one at the table wants to squeeze up a little.
-we (the whole team) are the first one to be blamed on when something wrong happens to the tablets.
-people ask us to carry the tablets back to homeroom before lunch.
3. What are some of the changes you would like to see?
Changes I would like to see are:
-we don’t use the tablets much during class, because most of the teachers don’t use them. Some of the teachers allow us to use them for typing; however, with the screen’s back facing the teachers, some students decide to play games or any other things they are not suppose to do on the tablets. This distracts the students themselves from learning, it also distracts other students. So it is better not to use the tablets if unnecessary.
- When we have free time, I try to go on some sites to play games, however, I found out all the sites that are related to game are blocked. I think it is ok to have a little time to play.
4. Would you be interested in staying after school to learn about new technologies that you can use in the classroom and with your teachers?
Yes, I would be happy to learn more new techniques, because I think computer is very important today, and it will be even more significant on the future.
